Julia Magda's practice is focused on civil litigation,
including premises liability, employment law, medical
malpractice, and corporate litigation. She also counsels
the Firm's clients on implementing sound employment
practices and policies. Julia is a magna cum laude graduate
of Mercer Law School where she received the George Waldo
Woodruff Award of Excellence given annually to the highest
ranking graduate. Prior to attending law school, Julia
graduated from Mercer University's Stetson School of
Business & Economics, earning recognition as a magna
cum laude graduate and active collegian in many of Mercer's
campus activities. Most recently, Julia was selected
as a "Rising Star" in civil litigation by Georgia "Super
Lawyers.”
Always involved in community endeavors, Julia is a
member of Leadership Macon's Class of 2002, Junior League
of Macon, and Career Women's Network, and she has served
as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Crisis Line
& Safe House of Central Georgia, and as Chairmain of the
Board of Managers for the The Children's Center at
Mulberry. She was
honored by Macon Magazine as one of its "Five Under
Forty" community leaders for 2006 and by the Macon Bar
Association for her community service. Julia and her
husband, Martin, are active at Mulberry Street United
Methodist Church where she has served on numerous boards and commitees. In their
spare time, they enjoy playing with their daughter,
traveling, reading, and visiting with family and friends.
