Buckner F. Melton (of Counsel):

Buck Melton has represented governmental agencies for more than 50 years, and has acted in many different capacities in public financings, including acting as Issuer's counsel, Bond Counsel, and Borrower's counsel. Mr. Melton has participated in hundreds of bond issues in these various capacities. Mr. Melton has represented and continues to represent several governmental agencies, in the capacity as general counsel and as counsel to the Issuer for bond issues, including: the Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority, the Development Authority of Bibb County, and the Macon-Bibb County Urban Development Authority.Mr. Melton specializes in qualified small issue industrial bond issues, but also has experience with and knowledge of most other municipal financing projects, including exempt facility bonds.Mr. Melton, a founding partner of the firm, has recently changed he affiliation with the firm to "of Counsel," so that he enjoy slightly more time on the golf course. However, he is still an integral part of the firm and the Public/Municipal Finance Team, and is in the office every day to meet with clients, coordinate deals, and oversee projects.

R. Chix Miller (Partner):

Chix Miller has represented numerous governmental entities as Bond counsel and Issuer's counsel over the past 20 years. Mr. Miller is currently the head of the Public/Municipal Section at Sell & Melton. He has participated in over 200 bond issues as either lead Bond counsel or Issuer's counsel.
Mr. Miller currently represents two local issuers, the Development Authority of Bibb County and the Macon-Bibb County Hospital Authority.
Mr. Miller specializes in acting as Bond counsel for nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and low to moderate income housing public/municipal financings. Mr. Miller also has many year of experience in structuring and acting as Bond counsel in qualified small issue industrial bonds. He has participated in several hospital and exempt facility financings as well.
During his time at Sell & Melton, of which he is the managing partner and a founding member, Mr. Miller has amassed considerable experience in the field of public/municipal finance and the respect of his peers for structuring and successfully completing difficult financings.
In addition to Public/Municipal Finance, Mr. Miller practices in the areas of: Taxation, Estate Planning, Wills and Probate.

Kevin T. Brown (Partner):

Kevin Brown joined the firm in 1997 and has worked closely with Chix Miller and Buck Melton in cultivating the firm's practice in the field of Public/Municipal Finance. He has participated in dozens of bonds issues in conjunction with Mr. Miller and Mr. Melton. In addition, Mr. Brown currently acts as general counsel and Issuer's counsel to the Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority, the City of Jeffersonville and Twiggs County Development Authority, and the Central Georgia Joint Development Authority. Mr. Brown also practices in the areas of: Real Estate; Corporate Representation/Litigation; Governmental Representation/Litigation, and General Litigation.
